Overview
This course provides instruction in the correct operation of Forward Tipping Dumpers for operators who will be using such machines on site. It provides training as referred to in the laws relating to work equipment and health and safety, and is accredited by the Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS).
Who Should Attend
The course can be tailored for all levels of experience, from novice through to expert. However all participants must have passed the relevant CITB Health, safety and environment test within 2 years of the exam date.

Pre-use inspection
Operational techniques

High tip machines

Assessment
1 day assessment - CPCS theory and practical tests.
On Completion
Successful delegates of of this CPCS Forward Tipping Dumper course will gain the CPCS red card (trained operator), which is valid for 2 years.
Candidates who hold this will then need to achieve the NVQ in Plant Operations within these 2 years, in order to upgrade to a Competent Operator 'Blue’.
