National Plant Operators Registration
NPORS has been supporting the construction industry since it was founded in 1992. It is one of the UK’s leading Registration and Accreditation bodies.
NPORS offers us the flexibility to train the workforce on site as well as at dedicated testing centres. As an ATP (Accredited Training Provider) Evolution Training and Consultancy Ltd provide NPORS Training and assessment at our plant centre in Hartlepool, or nationwide at your site.
Our dedicated HS&E testing centre in Hartlepool means we are a one stop shop for everything you need to earn your red or blue NPORS card.

Two NPORS Cards

NPORS (Traditional) Operator Card
This is either a 3 year or 5 year card specific to the category which can be renewed on completing the NPORS renewal form.

NPORS/CSCS Construction Plant Operator Card
Operators have to supply proof that they have passed the CITB health, safety & environmental touch screen test within two years prior to their application for the card. As we have our own on site HS&E testing centre we can facilitate this at your convenience.
On successful completion of an NPORS Test, the operator can apply for a Red ‘Trained Operator’ Card. The operator then has 2 years to complete the relevant NVQ for type of plant they are trained on. Upon completion of the NVQ the operator can apply for the 5 year Blue Competent operator card.
NB – if you already hold a relevant NVQ, the Blue card can be applied for on passing the NPORS Test.
