Emergency First Aid at Work (1 Day)
Duration
One day.
Overview
This course is designed for people who want to receive training in emergency first aid and is especially suited to smaller, low risk working environments. This course is ideal for smaller workplaces or those that present fewer hazards, where a nominated person is required to take charge in the event of illness or accident. Fully qualified first aiders in larger organisations can also benefit from additional support from Appointed Persons. This is especially relevant where the workplace may consist of many floors or work is operated in shifts.
Who Should Attend
Any person who is or planning to work in industry, and would like to become an emergency first aider in the workplace for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. All employers in the UK have a legal obligation to make First Aid provision for their employees and/or visitors.
